Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has officially confirmed that reigning Men’s T20 World Cup champions India will tour Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series in July, with games scheduled for July 23, 25, and 26 at Harare Sports Club, all starting at 4:30 pm IST.
This marks India’s first tour to Zimbabwe since July 2024, when the two sides played five T20Is. The two teams last met during the Super Eight stage of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup in Chennai, where India won by 72 runs.
The series is set to be one of the most anticipated bilateral contests of the summer.
Zimbabwe Eye Momentum After T20 World Cup Heroics
Zimbabwe, who reached the Super Eight stage at the 2026 T20 World Cup after topping their group, which included Australia and Sri Lanka, will look to build on that momentum.

ZC Managing Director Givemore Makoni noted that Zimbabwe’s encouraging performances at the T20 World Cup have created a strong platform to continue growing as a competitive force in international cricket.
Historic Bilateral Ties & India’s Packed Summer Schedule
The announcement also coincides with Zimbabwe’s tour of India for three ODIs in January 2027, their first bilateral series in the country since 2002. Before arriving in Harare, India will have already played a Test against Afghanistan, three ODIs, two T20Is in Ireland, and five T20Is in England.
