Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) continued their stunning batting run in IPL 2026, with Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen cementing their places at the top of the Orange Cap leaderboard following SRH’s six-wicket win over the Mumbai Indians.
Abhishek Sharma, who struck a quickfire 24-ball 45, leads the run charts with 425 runs, while Klaasen, who blasted an unbeaten 65 off just 30 balls, sits second with 414 runs. The SRH duo have been the most destructive batting pair of the tournament so far.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi of Rajasthan Royals is placed third with 400 runs, followed by KL Rahul of Delhi Capitals and Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the only other batters to have crossed the 350-run mark this season.

On the bowling front, it is another SRH player making headlines. Eshan Malinga has been one of the breakout stories of the IPL 2026 Season, and he continued his impressive run to now stand clear at the top of the Purple Cap table with 15 wickets.
Behind Malinga, RCB’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, RR’s Jofra Archer, and CSK’s Anshul Kamboj are locked together with 14 wickets each, while Prince Yadav of Lucknow Super Giants and Kagiso Rabada of Gujarat Titans are close behind on 13 wickets apiece, making the Purple Cap race one of the tightest in recent IPL memory.
On the points table, Punjab Kings lead with 13 points, with RCB and SRH both on 12 points in second and third place respectively.
With the league stage heating up, both individual and team battles promise plenty of drama in the matches ahead.
