Sooryavanshi, who lit up his debut season with a 35-ball hundred against Gujarat Titans last year, reached his half-century in just 15 deliveries, the third fifty-plus score of his eight-match IPL career.
He finished with 52 off 17 balls, laced with five sixes and four fours, before being dismissed having already put the game beyond Chennai’s reach. The knock was the second-fastest fifty by a Rajasthan Royals batter in IPL history.

Earlier, RR bowlers controlled the game as Jofra Archer (2/19), Nandre Burger (2/26), and Ravindra Jadeja (2/18) reduced CSK to 57/6. A late fightback from Jamie Overton (43) helped CSK reach 127 in 19.4 overs.
