He finished with 52 off 17 balls, laced with five sixes and four fours, before being dismissed having already put the game beyond Chennai’s reach. The knock was the second-fastest fifty by a Rajasthan Royals batter in IPL history.

Earlier, RR bowlers controlled the game as Jofra Archer (2/19), Nandre Burger (2/26), and Ravindra Jadeja (2/18) reduced CSK to 57/6. A late fightback from Jamie Overton (43) helped CSK reach 127 in 19.4 overs.
