Ten seasons in, and the Lahore Qalandars are still one of the teams everyone is chasing. They won PSL 2025 on May 25 by chasing down 202, a finish sealed when Sikandar Raza hit a six off the final ball.
However, PSL 2026 saw a new champion as Peshawar Zalmi lifted the title, ending Lahore’s recent dominance.
Since the first PSL ball in Dubai in February 2016, six franchises have won the trophy. Islamabad United remain the most successful with three titles, alongside Lahore Qalandars.

Islamabad United chased down Quetta Gladiators’ 174/7 with 8 balls to spare. Dwayne Smith top-scored with 73 off 51 balls. Brad Haddin added 81 not out, and Andre Russell played a vital cameo to finish the chase at 175/4.
2. PSL 2017 Winner: Peshawar Zalmi

Quetta Gladiators won their only PSL title by chasing down Peshawar Zalmi’s 138/8 with 13 balls to spare. Ahmed Shehzad scored 58 off 51 balls, and Ahsan Ali hit an unbeaten 25. Gladiators finished on 139/2 in 17.5 overs, winning by 8 wickets.
5. PSL 2020 Winner: Karachi Kings

Karachi Kings chased Lahore Qalandars’ 134/7 with 8 balls to spare. Babar Azam anchored the chase with an unbeaten 63 off 49 balls. Karachi finished on 135/5 in 18.4 overs. Babar won the CricInfo MVP award with 66.13 points for his performance throughout the tournament.
6. PSL 2021 Winner: Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans posted a dominant 206/4. Sohaib Maqsood top-scored with 65 off 38 balls, and Rilee Rossouw hit 50 off 21 balls. Peshawar Zalmi fell 47 runs short at 159/9 in their 20 overs. Sohaib Maqsood won both Player of the Match and Player of the Series.
7. PSL 2022 Winner: Lahore Qalandars

Lahore Qalandars posted 180/5 and beat Multan Sultans by 42 runs. Mohammad Hafeez scored 69 off 46 balls, and Harry Brook added 41 off 22. Multan could only reach 138 in 19.3 overs. Mohammad Rizwan won Player of the Series with 546 runs in the tournament.
8. PSL 2023 Winner: Lahore Qalandars

Lahore Qalandars won the closest PSL final ever by just 1 run. They posted 200/6, with Abdullah Shafique scoring 65 off 40 balls and Shaheen Afridi hitting 44 off 34 at the end. Multan Sultans fell just short at 199/8 in their 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi won CricInfo MVP.
9. PSL 2024 Winner: Islamabad United

Islamabad United chased Multan Sultans’ 159/9 off the very last ball to win by 2 wickets. Martin Guptill top-scored with 50 off 32 balls. Imad Wasim won Player of the Match. Shadab Khan won Player of the Series with 305 runs and 14 wickets across the tournament.
10. PSL 2025 Winner: Lahore Qalandars

11. PSL 2026 Winner: Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets to lift their second PSL title. Hyderabad Kingsmen were bowled out for 129 in 18 overs, with Saim Ayub top-scoring with 54. Zalmi chased the target comfortably, reaching 130/5 in just 15.2 overs. Aaron Hardie starred in the final with a match-winning all-round performance and was named Player of the Match for his four-wicket haul and crucial contribution with the bat.
