In a landmark moment for women’s cricket, India are set to host Zimbabwe for the first time ever in a bilateral international series, marking a historic milestone for both nations. The tour, scheduled for October 2026, will comprise six matches across two formats, three T20Is and three ODIs.
Zimbabwe will first feature in a three-game T20I series in Raipur between October 16 and 20, followed by a three-game ODI series in Baroda between October 23 and 28. The ODI leg of the tour will form part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025–29, adding significant context and ranking points to the contest.

This will be the first-ever bilateral international meeting between India Women and Zimbabwe Women, making it a truly historic occasion for cricket on the African continent and for the development of the global women’s game.
The BCCI also announced that Australia A and England A would tour India in September–October and November–December respectively, with both sides featuring in women’s all-format series. The men’s Australia A side and Australia Under-19 Men’s side are also set to tour India in September and October.
The upcoming Zimbabwe tour signals the BCCI’s growing commitment to expanding India’s women’s cricket calendar and providing competitive international exposure against emerging nations.
