Jason Roy’s 145* That Nobody Has Touched Yet
Jason Roy’s unbeaten 145 off 63 balls remains the highest individual score in PSL history. He hit it for Quetta Gladiators against Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on 8 March 2023.

Quetta were chasing 241, a mountain no PSL side had climbed before. Babar Azam’s century and Saim Ayub’s 74 had built that total.
Roy opened with Martin Guptill, reached fifty in 22 balls, and brought up his hundred in 44. He smashed 20 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 230.15.
He added 109 for the second wicket with Will Smeed and 93* with Mohammad Hafeez. Quetta won by 8 wickets with 10 balls left, sealing the highest successful run-chase in PSL history.
However, this record stood only for two days. On March 10, 2023, the record was surpassed when Multan Sultans successfully chased 243 (scoring 244/6) against Peshawar Zalmi, setting the new highest successful run-chase in PSL history.
Colin Ingram’s 127* Sharjah Masterclass
Colin Ingram’s unbeaten 127 off 59 balls held the PSL record for four years before Roy broke it. The South African hit it for Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 24 February 2019.

Karachi was chasing and wobbling. Ingram took over with 12 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 215.25.
He became the first overseas batter to score a PSL century. Player of the Match was a formality.
Rilee Rossouw’s 121 in 41 Balls of Carnage
Rilee Rossouw’s 121 off 51 balls ranks third among the highest PSL scores. The South African hit it for Multan Sultans against Peshawar Zalmi at Rawalpindi on 10 March 2023.

Zalmi had posted 242/6. Multan slipped to 28/2 early, and then Rossouw arrived.
He hit 12 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 237.25, reaching his century in 41 balls. His 99-run stand with Kieron Pollard (52 off 24) flipped the chase.
Multan won by 4 wickets with 5 balls to spare.
Usman Khan’s 120 and the Fastest Century in PSL History
Usman Khan’s 120 off 43 balls gave PSL its fastest century ever, a 36-ball hundred. The knock came for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi on 11 March 2023.

Usman opened with Mohammad Rizwan. His 12 fours and 9 sixes came at a strike rate of 279.06, the highest on this list.
The pair added 157 for the first wicket. Multan reached 262/3, their highest PSL total, and won by 9 runs in a 515-run game.
Cameron Delport’s 117* PSL Return-Home Statement
Cameron Delport’s unbeaten 117 off 60 balls ranks fifth on the list. He hit it for Islamabad United against Lahore Qalandars at Karachi’s National Stadium on 9 March 2019.

PSL matches had just returned to Pakistani soil. Delport walked in at 10/2 after Luke Ronchi and Phil Salt fell cheaply.
His 13 fours and 6 sixes and a 118-run stand with Chadwick Walton lifted Islamabad to 238/3, the highest PSL total at that time. His strike rate of 195.00 blended control and clean hitting.
Sharjeel Khan’s 117 That Opened the PSL Century Book
Sharjeel Khan’s 117 off 62 balls was the first-ever century in PSL history. The Islamabad United opener hit it against Peshawar Zalmi at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 21 February 2016.

It was a 3rd qualifying final. Zalmi chose to bowl, and Sharjeel feasted.
He struck 12 fours and 8 sixes against Shaun Tait, Wahab Riaz, Shahid Afridi, and Hasan Ali. A final-over mix-up with Khalid Latif ran him out.
Islamabad went on to win PSL 2016. The record stood for three full years.
Martin Guptill’s 117 That Rebuilt an Innings
Martin Guptill’s 117 off 67 balls is the only top-10 PSL hundred that came in a low-scoring game. The Kiwi hit it for Quetta Gladiators against Karachi Kings at Karachi on 18 February 2023.

Quetta were 23/4 when he walked in. Imad Wasim had already taken three wickets.
Guptill rebuilt with Iftikhar Ahmed (69-run stand), then accelerated. He smashed Andrew Tye for 30 in the 19th over. His innings had 12 fours and 5 sixes.
Quetta finished at 168/7 and defended it by 6 runs. A proper repair job.
Jason Roy’s 116 on His Gladiators Debut
Jason Roy’s 116 off 57 balls was his first PSL innings, and it set the tone. He hit it for Quetta Gladiators against Lahore Qalandars at Karachi on 7 February 2022.

Quetta were chasing 205. Roy faced Shaheen Afridi, Rashid Khan, Haris Rauf, Zaman Khan, and David Wiese. Did not matter.
He hit 11 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 203.50. His stands of 71 with Ahsan Ali and 96 with James Vince did the rest.
Wiese got him with 38 needed off 26. Quetta won by 7 wickets.
Babar Azam’s 115 Highest PSL Score in a Losing Cause
Babar Azam’s 115 off 65 balls sits at a sore spot in this list. It is the highest individual PSL score in a losing effort. The Pakistan captain hit it for Peshawar Zalmi against Quetta Gladiators at Rawalpindi on 8 March 2023.

Babar and Saim Ayub added 162 for the first wicket. He added 62 more with Rovman Powell for the second.
His 20 fours and 3 sixes are the most fours in any top-10 PSL innings. Fifty came in 32 balls, the hundred in 60.
Zalmi posted 240/3. Then Jason Roy happened. Babar’s ton got lost in the noise.
Fakhar Zaman’s 115 That Kept the Party Going
Fakhar Zaman’s 115 off 57 balls came a day after the Roy-Babar thriller. The Lahore Qalandars opener hit it against Islamabad United at Rawalpindi on 9 March 2023.

Qalandars lost Abdullah Shafique in the first over. Fakhar then added 122 with Kamran Ghulam and 70 with Sam Billings.
His 8 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 201.75 lifted Lahore to 226/5. Islamabad folded for 107.
The 119-run margin was the biggest win margin in PSL history, until in 2025, this record was narrowly beaten during the 2025 season. On April 19, 2025, Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi defeated the Multan Sultans by a massive 120 runs, setting the new record for the largest margin of victory (by runs) in PSL history.
Patterns Worth Noticing Across the Top 10
Some clear trends jump out across these 10 knocks:
- Seven of 10 innings came in PSL 2023, the biggest batting festival the league has seen
- Five of 10 knocks happened at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, PSL’s most batter-friendly venue
- Overseas players hold 6 spots. Pakistani batters hold 4 (Usman, Sharjeel, Babar, Fakhar)
- Quetta Gladiators feature in 4 knocks, the most by any franchise
- Peshawar Zalmi were on the receiving end three times (sorry, Zalmi fans)
- Jason Roy is the only player with two entries, both for Quetta
Strike-rate-wise, Usman Khan’s 279.06 leads by a street. For boundary count, Babar Azam’s 15 fours stand out. The fastest hundred still belongs to Usman Khan’s 36-ball century.
Five of the 10 knocks came from left-handers: Ingram, Rossouw, Delport, Sharjeel, and Fakhar. Openers scored 9 of these 10 hundreds. Middle-order fans, this was not your tournament.
PSL 2026 Update on the Highest Score Race
The top 10 list has not changed in PSL 2026. The season runs from 26 March to 3 May 2026. No batter has crossed 115 yet through the league stage.
Kusal Mendis leads run-scoring with 330 runs for Peshawar Zalmi, while Sahibzada Farhan tops six-hitting with 17 sixes for Multan Sultans. Abdul Samad’s 242.42 strike rate leads that category.
A new entry could still arrive before the playoffs. For now, Jason Roy sleeps comfortably.

Conclusion: Jason Roy’s 145* Remains As The Highest Individual Score in PSL History!
Jason Roy’s score symbolises how far batting standards in the league have risen since its early seasons.
The list is dominated by explosive modern innings, especially from 2023, with Rawalpindi emerging as a batting paradise.
Players like Usman Khan and Rilee Rossouw have come close in impact, but none have surpassed Roy’s benchmark yet.
