The Baroda Premier League 2026 (BPL T20 2026) is the second edition of the Baroda Cricket Association’s franchise T20 league, running from June 1 to June 14, 2026 at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara.

Tournament Format: How BPL 2026 Works

• 5 teams, each playing the other four twice — 20 league matches total
• Top 4 teams qualify for the playoffs; bottom-placed team is eliminated
• Points: 2 for a win, 1 each for a tie or abandoned match, 0 for a loss
• NRR breaks ties when teams are level on points
• Grand Final: June 14, 2026 at Kotambi Stadium

1. Alembic Warriors (AWS)

Defending champions, winning BPL 2025 by 4 wickets (110/6 vs 109/10) over Ami Super Avengers. In 2026, they’ve won both openers — beating Pruthvi Panthers by 19 runs and Diamond Dazzlers by 6 wickets. Captained by Ninad Rathva, currently the tournament’s six-hitting leader.

2. Ami Super Avengers (ASV)

2025 runners-up who qualified for the final via NRR. Their 2026 opener against A4 Power Strikers was abandoned at 49/3 in 7.5 overs while chasing 159. Key player is veteran all-rounder Atit Sheth — 1,706 first-class runs and 132 wickets for Baroda.

3. A4 Power Strikers (APT)

Exited BPL 2025 in the Eliminator via VJD loss to Panthers. In 2026, their first game was washed out (had posted 158/7) and then lost Match 4 to Panthers by 4 wickets.

4. Pruthvi Panthers (PTP)

Won the 2025 Eliminator before bowing out in Qualifier 2. In 2026, they lost their opener but responded with a Match 4 win, restricting A4 to 125 and chasing it down in 19.4 overs.

5. Diamond Dazzlers (DDZ)

The only franchise to miss the 2025 playoffs. Season 2 is their chance to reset. Lost their first match to Alembic Warriors (151/9 vs 155/4), with plenty of league games still remaining.
