The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India Women’s Under-19 squads for the upcoming IDFC First Bank Sri Lanka Women’s U-19 Tour of India, with Bhavika Ahire set to lead the side in both formats.
Ahire, who will also serve as wicketkeeper, has been named captain of both the T20 and one-day squads for the six-match home series. Mahak Narwase has been appointed vice-captain across both formats.

The series will feature three T20 internationals and three One-Day matches, offering India’s brightest young talent a crucial opportunity to impress ahead of future international assignments.
For the T20 fixtures, the squad includes Ira Jadhav, Tanishka Sharma, Ishwari Awasare, Avni Chawda, Nidhi Mahto, Purva Siwach, Kumari Palak, Kashvi Kandikuppa, Maitri Maniar, Gouri Goyal, Janvi Vikar, Anaadi Tagde, and K. Deeksha (WK).
The one-day squad sees a few changes, with Deeya Yadav, V. Pratiksha, and Vidhi Parmar coming in place of Tanishka Sharma, Avni Chawda, and Maitri Maniar.
The series is expected to serve as a key preparatory platform for India’s junior women cricketers, with selectors keeping a close eye on performances as they plan for future age-group tournaments including the ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup.
